Background

A total of 11 CTL Students have participated in the CTL Summer School Programme and stayed at the University of Sydney for two weeks to attend a course on cross-cultural communication. The course provided students with the necessary understanding of speech events, and of language and social relations in order to analyze inter-cultural and cross-cultural communication. Furthermore, they have been offered the chance to communicate with undergraduate and postgraduate students who came from various parts of the world.

I enjoyed the wonderful Sydney trip with ten brilliant and cheerful friends! We struggled to squeeze some spare time from the tight schedule to have fun. I have gained a lot from this and it is highly recommended.
